Fashion, Art, and Design law society president Courtney Lopez started the organization with fellow students Erin Albert, Kathryn Miller, and Nicole Estes because they found few attorneys who specialized in these areas. They figured there would be a lot of interest in developing this type of society.
The first callout meeting for the FAD law society is at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 11 in Room 245 in the law school. The society is seeking outside counsel and art, design, or fashion experts as pro bono advisors. The society also wants to hold fundraisers, social, and educational events that blend their interests.
