The St. Joseph County Bar Association has released the results of its 2009 survey evaluating Superior Court judges. This is the second time the bar association has completed and published this survey.

Surveys were e-mailed in August to bar association members to evaluate the eight judges: Judges Roland Chamblee Jr.; David Chapleau; J. Jerome Frese; Jenny Pitts Manier; John Marnocha; Jane Woodward Miller; Margot F. Reagan; and Michael Scopelitis. Superior judges in St. Joseph County face retention instead of elections.

Members assigned scores of 1 through 5 to the judges on questions involving legal ability, integrity and impartiality, professionalism and temperament, and administrative capability. The results of the survey are available on the SJCBA's Web site under News & Events.
