Hon. Diane P. Wood of the 7th Circuit will be a judge for the prize argument round of the moot court competition at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 in Indiana University – School of Law Bloomington's Moot Court Room. Joining Judge Wood as guest judges are Hon. Paul Niemeyer of the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals; Hon. Ronald Reinstein, a consultant to the Arizona Supreme Court and formerly of the Maricopa County, Ariz., Superior Court; and professor Matt Gutwein, president and CEO of the Marion County Health and Hospital Corporation.
The Sherman Minton Moot Court competition is a student-run program at IU – Bloomington law school in which students learn about the nature of argument, legal representation, and jurisprudence by writing an appellate brief and participating in oral arguments.
The public is invited to attend the final argument and the reception for the law school community that will follow arguments.
