Dempsey of the Southern District of Indiana has issued a clarification on when orders should be distributed now that rules have shifted responsibility for distribution of most orders to the prevailing parties.
The clerk’s office has received numerous inquiries since the rule change Oct. 1. Dempsey writes that the office staff cannot offer guidance on order distribution since that could be considered legal advice. Any questions or suggestions regarding the rule should be sent to [email protected].
