The Indianapolis Bar Association and Foundation is hiring for two new staff positions. Director of Law Practice Management: This position will be responsible for all facets of administration and promotion of the IndyBar’s law practice development initiatives, including:
Administrator of the IndyBar’s Lawyer Referral Services, www.indylawyerfinder.com and other practice development initiatives for the benefit of central Indiana’s lawyers
Providing one-on-one assistance to attorneys affiliating with practice development programs of the IndyBar
Coordinating the creation and implementation of practice development marketing efforts with staff and member volunteers
Reporting regularly to the Executive Director regarding relevancy and success of law practice development services
Director of Law Student Services: This position will be responsible for all facets of administration and promotion of the IndyBar’s law student programs and services, including:
Administrating the semi-annual review course and supplemental programming for the benefit of Indiana’s future lawyers
Coordinating the creation and implementation of law student service marketing efforts with staff and member volunteers
Reporting regularly to the Executive Director regarding relevancy and success of law student services
Indianapolis Bar Foundation Trivia Night is Back!
Question: How do you prove your trivia dominance while supporting a great cause? Emceed by James Bell of Bingham Greenebaum Doll and Adam Christensen of Mallor Grodner, teams of up to five people–both members and non-members are invited–will compete to become the IBF Trivia Champions. IndyBar Review Scholarship Deadline Nov. 1
Students, check out the scholarships available from the Indianapolis Bar Foundation. Two scholarships for the Winter 2014 IndyBar Review session are up for grabs. The application deadline is Nov. 1. The scholarships are available to IndyBar law student members and are financial-need based, with consideration also given to the student’s activity with the Law Student Division. The scholarship application can be found online at indybar.org.
Welcome New Citizens at Naturalization Ceremonies
Courtroom connotations: stress, contention and opposition. Let the IndyBar change that for you—participate in a warm, wonderful Naturalization Ceremony. Twice a month, the IndyBar sends representatives to the Naturalization Ceremonies to give welcoming words to the new citizens.
