The following 7th Circuit Court of Appeals opinion was posted after IL deadline Friday:
Scott Ian Richardson v. The Koch Law Firm P.C.
12-3868
U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana, Indianapolis Division, Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson. Judgment of the District Court is modified to be on the merits, rather than for lack of subject-matter jurisdiction, and as modified is affirmed. The District Court had dismissed the suit initially in which Richardson sought to stop the law firm from trying to collect an educational debt from him, for want of jurisdiction, invoking the Rooker-Feldman doctrine.
