The Randall T. Shepard Bicentennial Lecture will highlight the contributions of two Hoosiers featured in the Indiana Historical Society Press’s book, “Indiana’s 200 — The People Who Shaped the Hoosier State,” according to the courts.
Court of Appeals Judge John Baker will speak about Indiana Supreme Court Justice Jesse Lynch Holman, one of the state’s first three justices. Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis professor of history Robert Barrows will speak about Albion Fellows Bacon, an Evansville social reformer and writer.
