IndyBar members are encouraged to be on hand to talk with representatives from Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett’s office at the IndyBar offices on Thursday, Oct. 13 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. regarding ideas for improvements to the processes used within the criminal justice system in Marion County.

Mayor Hogsett has directed his staff to compile recommendations in an effort to gain efficiencies.  As part of this effort, staff representatives are talking with the courts and a variety of other related groups. This is the private bar’s opportunity to contribute thoughts. Specifically, comments are being sought regarding process, facilities and any other related considerations. This is a special opportunity to provide direct feedback that shouldn’t be overlooked.

If you are unable to attend in person you are welcome to share your thoughts in writing by forwarding to IndyBar Executive Director Julie Armstrong at [email protected] or by mail to the bar office.

Registration is not required; walk-ins are welcome. There is no fee associated with this gathering.•
