Subscribe NowThe Indiana Supreme Court issued three orders Tuesday suspending or extending the suspensions of three lawyers found to be noncooperative with the Disciplinary Commission’s investigation of grievances against them.
The court:
• Suspended Terre Haute lawyer John H.N. Claussen, who did not reply to a Jan. 22 order to show cause why he should not be suspended for noncooperation. Claussen also did not respond to the commission’s request for ruling and to tax costs last month. His suspension took effect Tuesday and he is ordered to reimburse the commission $519.68 for the costs of the proceedings. Claussen also faces another pending disciplinary case.
• Converted Indianapolis attorney Milton Bradberry Jr.’s suspension for noncooperation to an indefinite suspension, effective Tuesday. Bradberry was suspended Dec. 7, 2017, for noncooperation and did not respond to the commission’s motion to convert the suspension.
• Converted Kokomo attorney Charles R. Huston’s Dec. 7, 2017 suspension for noncooperation to an indefinite suspension, effective Tuesday. Huston did not respond to the commission’s motion to convert the suspension.
