Dean Erwin Chemerinsky of the University of California Berkeley School of Law, formerly founding dean of the UC Irvine School of Law, will be the featured guest at an Indianapolis Bar Association event Monday, April 29, from 1:30 to 6 p.m.
Chemerinsky will speak at the offices of event sponsor Barnes & Thornburg, where he also will be interviewed by B&T partner Chris Bayh. Chemerinsky also will participate in a Q&A following a panel discussion involving notable Indiana federal appellate practitioners. Panelists include Indiana Solicitor General Thomas Fisher, Indiana Federal Community Defenders chief federal defender Monica Foster, Indiana Legal Services director Jon Laramore and Krieg DeVault LLP partner Libby Goodknight.
Chemerinsky in 2018 was ranked the nation’s most-cited constitutional law scholar in a study based on data from 2013-2017.
