Court of Appeals of Indiana
Mark Alan Hurley v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)
22A-CR-298
Criminal. Affirms Mark Alan Hurley’s conviction of Level 6 felony battery on a person less than 14 years of age by a person over 18 years of age. Finds the totality of the evidence was sufficient to sustain the conviction.

Jerome S. Brantley v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)
22A-CR-561
Criminal. Affirms Jerome S. Brantley’s conviction of Level 6 felony possession of methamphetamine and two-year sentence in the Indiana Department of Correction, as well as the revocation of his probation for another offense and the order that he serve the remainder of his previously suspended sentence. Finds sufficient evidence to sustain Brantley’s conviction. Also finds Brantley has not shown that his sentence is inappropriate in light of the nature of the offense and his character. Finally, finds the Bartholomew Circuit Court did not abuse its discretion when it found that Brantley violated his probation and ordered him to serve the remainder of his suspended sentence.
