Court of Appeals of Indiana
Christopher Meadows v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)
23A-CR-974
Criminal. Affirms Christopher Meadows’ conviction for Class A operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Finds the Decatur Superior Court did not abuse its discretion in admitting evidence garnered from a search warrant affidavit that was not submitted in reckless disregard for the truth.

Miguel Enrique Delfin Cruz v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)
23A-CR-521
Criminal. Affirms Miguel Enrique Delfin Cruz’s convictions stemming from a confrontation with several police officers. Finds the evidence was sufficient to sustain the Kosciusko Superior Court’s determination that Cruz had intended to issue a true threat. Remands with instructions for the court to clarify its intentions regarding Cruz’s placement in an available purposeful-incarceration program.

In the Termination of the ParentChild Relationship of: R.S. (Minor Child) and T.S. (Mother) and J.S. (Father) v. Indiana Department of Child Services (mem. dec.)
23A-JT-642
Juvenile termination of parental rights. Affirms the Tippecanoe Superior Court’s termination of T.S.’s and J.S.’s parental rights over their minor child. Finds the trial court’s conclusion that the conditions that resulted in the child’s removal from the mother’s care will not be remedied is not clearly erroneous. Also finds the trial court’s conclusion that the termination of the parents’ parental rights is in the child’s best interests is not clearly erroneous.
