Kyli Willis

By Kyli L. Willis, Buchanan & Bruggenschmidt PC

Are you an active Parenting Coordinator currently serving the needs of the high conflict families in Indiana? If so, you have probably felt the stress, burn out, and frustration which comes with providing this necessary and difficult service. Working with high conflict parents can take an emotional toll. Convening with colleagues who are in the proverbial trenches with you, exchanging ideas, and learning new methods of dealing with the issues you face in these challenging roles is a great way of managing that stress. The IndyBar Family Law Section will be hosting a one-day advanced parenting coordination training on October 18, 2024, at IndyBarHQ for exactly that purpose!

This training will be presented by Mindy Mitnik, EdM MA, a nationally recognized licensed psychologist and expert in this area—you may have enjoyed her presentation at last year’s two-day parenting coordination training. This advanced program will build upon those skills and cover topics parenting coordinators are faced with and expected to manage or resolve every day, including substance abuse and mental health issues, resist/refuse dynamics, and allegations of child maltreatment. Ms. Mitnik is a renowned and dynamic presenter, sure to provide thoughtful and interesting perspectives on how to approach these issues in your parenting coordination practice. You will leave her program feeling reenergized about the vital work you do with high conflict families, with new ideas to advance your parenting coordination skills.

Registration is located on the Family Law Section events page, available at indybar.org. Further questions regarding the training and registration may be directed to Kyli Willis ([email protected]), Program Co-Chair. We thank The Northside Law Firm, Kids Voice of Indiana, and Genesis Mediation of Indiana for their generous sponsorship of this program. We hope you will join us!•
