IndyBar has long celebrated a unique partnership with the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Attorney members, who are often alumni of McKinney, have always made it a priority to be a presence with and for Indy-area law students. As a way to continue to expand and elevate that investment, IndyBar is excited to announce the return of Take a Law Student to Lunch! This engaging luncheon offers a valuable opportunity for students to spend time with local practitioners as a way to gain insights into the legal profession, build meaningful connections, and explore potential career paths.

Students will be paired with attorneys based on shared interests and practice areas, fostering personalized and impactful conversations. This is ideal for discussions about career advice, law school journeys, and the realities of working in the legal field. If you are an attorney looking to mentor and share your experiences, this event promises to be both inspiring and enriching. For just $60, you can make an impact on the future of the legal profession and enjoy a catered lunch. You can register for this event by visiting www.indybar.org/lunch. If you have any questions, please contact Deneen Fitzgerald at [email protected].

IndyBar’s numerous other law student benefits continue to be a focus of our efforts, too. From our in-person bar exam prep course, which not only keeps the rate of prep courses in the state lowered but also provides students with direct access to lecturers who have exceled in their field; our Breakfast with the Bar events where students ask attorneys in specific areas of practice to share experiences, advice, and guidance; our educational opportunities hosted by Sections and Divisions inviting and engaging law Students, IndyBar has and continues to prioritize investing in and uplifting the future of the legal profession.•
