The Marion County courts are seeking comment on proposed amendments to Administrate Local Rule 49-TR 85 Rule 231 – Mandatory Settlement Conferences in Mortgage Foreclosure Cases. The Marion Circuit and Superior courts want to amend the rule in order to avoid confusion as to rights and procedures concerning settlement conferences in residential mortgage foreclosures.
Comments should be sent to Glenn Lawrence, Office of the Court Administrator, Marion County Circuit and Superior Courts, 200 E. Washington St., Ste. T-1221, Indianapolis, IN 46204, or to [email protected]. Comments will be accepted through noon Sept. 2, 2009, with an effective date Sept. 3, 2009.
