Marion Superior Judge Robert Altice, a Republican, became presiding judge of the court system for a two-year term. Judges Gerald Zore, Ted Sosin and Tanya Walton Pratt are also serving on the executive committee.
State law dictates that Marion Superior Court's three-dozen judgeships are split evenly between Republicans and Democrats, with the presiding judge spot alternating every two years. Judge Zore had been the presiding judge for the past two years.
