The appellate court is the first court in the country to join the program.
The Law Office Climate Challenge provides the legal profession the opportunity to join the environmental sustainability movement. The Court of Appeals participates in the best practices for office paper management and WasteWise components of the program.
The Court of Appeals has implemented a paper-recycling plan in all offices, changed purchasing practices so that all copier and printer paper is 100 percent recyclable, ordered other office supplies made of recycled material, and switched from printing multiple copies of each opinion handed down to circulating opinions electronically.
In addition to the Court of Appeals, only the Indianapolis offices of Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan and Littler Mendelson are a part of the program. More information about the program is available on the ABA's Web site.
