Mitch Daniels as judge of Wayne Superior Court 1. Todd will fill a vacancy left by Judge P. Thomas Snow, who left the bench in February to chair the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission.
The governor appointed Senior Judge G. Michael Witte to serve as temporary judge of the court March 10. Todd's appointment will be effective following the closing of his private practice.
Todd, of Hagerstown, has worked in private practice for more than 10 years. He previously served as deputy prosecutor in Wayne County and as a law clerk for Judge William I. Garrard in the Indiana Court of Appeals. Todd is also a commissioner for the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education.
