Attorney General Greg Zoeller, the Indiana State Bar Association, and Feeding Indiana's Hungry are joining forces for the second annual March Against Hunger food drive. It's a challenge among law firms to raise the most donations of either non-perishable food or monetary contributions for the state's regional food banks. This year's event runs from March 15-31.
Last year, 45 law firms and 10 satellite offices raised the equivalent of 76 tons of food. Barnes & Thornburg won the large-firm division; Ziemer Stayman Weitzel and Shoulders, based in Evansville, won the small-firm division; and Evansville attorney Phillip Siegel, Evansville, won in the sole practitioner division.
Firms will be put in three divisions this year: firms of 25 lawyers or more; sole practitioners and small firms of one to 24 lawyers; and public and nonprofit lawyers. Winners will receive an Attorney General's Cup.
