Jaclyn Sexton is a first-year law student from North Attleboro, Mass. Notre Dame students and South Bend residents can watch “Millionaire” on WNDU-TV (channel 16/cable channel 8) at 1 p.m. Other Indiana stations that air the show can be found on http://www.millionairetv.com/tunein.html.
Sexton took her mother, Janice, to the taping, according to a press release from the law school. Sexton said she would like to share any winnings, perhaps by “taking a job as a public defender or as an assistant district attorney. That way, I’d have the opportunity to help people and not worry about whether they could afford to pay me,” she said.
Emmy Award-winner Meredith Vieira hosts “Millionaire,” the show that offers up to $1 million in prize money and offers contestants lifelines to help them answer questions about a potpourri of topics.
