The database covers more than 500 cases and arbitration decisions dating back to 1986 through today and has searchable versions of national and international rules governing various sports.
The law clinic's database is the only online, searchable product available to professionals and the public. The Sports Law Clinic's director and associate law professor Michael Straubel and third-year law students compiled the database.
The database was one of the original goals of the clinic when Straubel started it during the 2005-06 school year. The clinic has been representing athletes pro bono since its inception.
The clinic is accepting submissions of information on cases, decisions, sports law and other relevant matters for the database. Submissions may be sent to [email protected].
