The case, Uhl v. Thoroughbred Technology and Telecommunications, Inc., involved fiber optic cable installation on land adjacent to railroad rights of way.
The IALF was established by the Indiana Farm Bureau in 2005 to further the understanding of agricultural legal issues and to provide financial support in the resolution of those legal issues. As a requirement of receiving the cy pres funds, the IALF will use the funds for education of and enforcement of property rights in cases that affect landowners.
