The newest judge for the Southern District of Indiana was sworn in Monday to officially become a U.S. District Judge. Chief
Judge Richard L. Young administered the oath to Judge Jane E. Magnus-Stinson at the federal courthouse in Indianapolis.
Judge Magnus-Stinson, previously a magistrate in the Southern District since 2007, was elevated to Article III judgeship
by the U.S. Senate last week.
