The 7th annual Race Away from Domestic Violence 5k will be held on Saturday in Indianapolis. The race is hosted by the Indiana
Coalition Against Domestic Violence and raises awareness and money to help end domestic violence in the state.

There is a competitive 5k run, a family fitness run/walk/roll, and a kids’ race for those 12 and under. Rev. Richard
Propes, an Indiana advocate against child abuse and domestic violence who is known for his wheelchair tours, will lead the
event. The race will be held at Michael Carroll Stadium on the Indiana University Purdue University – Indianapolis campus.
Registration on race day opens at 6:45 a.m.

Registration is $20 through Thursday and $25 on race day. For more information or to register, visit the ICADV’s website.
