The Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission submitted the names of the three finalists for the Indiana Tax Court to Gov. Mitch Daniels Friday.

The commission held second-round interviews Oct. 27 and picked Bloomington attorney Joby Jerrells, Hendricks Superior Judge Karen Love and Indianapolis attorney Martha Wentworth as finalists for the bench. It sent the five- page letter with biographical information on the finalists as well as observations made by the commission members.

Gov. Daniels is currently overseas visiting China and Japan on an economic development trip and will return Nov. 17. He has 60 days from Nov. 5 to choose a replacement for retiring Tax Judge Thomas Fisher, who steps down at the end of the year.

Video highlights from the three finalists’ interviews are available online at http://www.theindianalawyer.com
