His address, “Burdened but Unbowed,” will discuss how the judicial branch has shown it is capable of diagnosing problems and assembling people to find solutions, highlight work done regarding foreclosures, and discuss improvements to trial court technology. The chief justice will also give remarks on criminal sentencing issues within the Council of State Governments Justice Reinvestment Report.
The address begins at 2:30 p.m. and will be aired on radio and television stations of the Indiana Public Broadcasting Stations. The Indiana Constitution requires the chief justice to update lawmakers on the condition of the courts.
