More than 90 people applied for the state Board of Law Examiner’s executive director position by the Jan. 21 application deadline, according to Indiana Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathryn Dolan.
The position opened up after former leader Linda Loepker resigned in December, and now the BLE governing members will review applications before the Indiana Supreme Court makes an ultimate decision on who to hire. No timeline is outlined yet for that process. David Remondini, who is chief deputy executive director of the Division of State Court Administration, is filling the spot in the meantime.
