The court is searching for a new executive director after former BLE leader Linda Loepker resigned from the position in December. More than 90 people applied for the position by the Jan. 21 deadline, though Indiana Supreme Court Public Information Officer Kathryn Dolan has not revealed how many of those applicants are being considered. David Remondini, chief executive director of the Division of State Court Administration, is temporarily filling the position and was responsible for overseeing the bar exam on Feb. 22 and 23.
BLE governing board members will help review the applications and conduct interviews, and a list of qualified finalists will be submitted for the court’s consideration, Dolan said. No timeline is in place for that to happen.
