Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law’s inaugural National Professional Responsibility Moot Court Competition will take place March 9 and 10 in Indianapolis. This is just the second professional responsibility competition in the U.S.

Teams from Cumberland School of Law at Stamford University, Stetson University College of Law, Valparaiso University School of Law, University of Dayton School of Law, and the University of North Dakota School of Law will compete. Teams will deal with ethical issues of social media use by attorneys and clients, as well as conflicts between First Amendment rights and election law rules.

The final argument is open to the public and will occur at 11:15 a.m. March 10 in the Wynne Courtroom, Inlow Hall, 530 W. New York St. The competition is endowed in part by a gift from Montross Miller Muller Mendelson & Kennedy in honor of the late Timothy J. Kennedy.
