Williams, founding partner of The Williams Law Firm, will visit West Vigo High School Thursday as part of “End Distracted Driving Day.” The presentation shows teens an educational but sobering glimpse into the tragic results that can happen when driving distracted.
The 60-minute presentation is part of The Casey Feldman Foundation, EndDD.org and 60 for Safety’s ongoing efforts to end distracted driving.
The Indiana Trial Lawyers Association’s College of Fellows, where Williams is president, joined the effort to stop distracted driving last year and decided to continue with the distracted driving project after receiving positive feedback from teenagers, teachers and parents.
“We wanted to help with the problem, and we feel like we are helping,” Williams told Indiana Lawyer in June. “As trial lawyers, we feel like we’re very well prepared to do this kind of thing because we do it every day.”
