The Journal & Courier reports Tippecanoe Superior Judge Thomas Busch said Monday the public is not allowed to use social media or have their electronic devices on during the sentencing Friday of 24-year-old Cody Cousins of Warsaw.
Cody pleaded guilty last month in the death of 21-year-old Andrew Boldt of West Bend, Wisconsin.
Lafayette attorney Kirk Freeman has said he intends to seek a verdict of guilty but mentally ill at the sentencing hearing. Cousins faces a sentence range between 45 and 65 years in prison.
