The honors were presented at a 2014 judicial conference.
Five judges received the 24 Years of Service Award, which means those who are trial judges have typically been elected four times to a six-year term. Recipients are:
• Allen Superior Judge Nancy Eshcoff Boyer
• St. Joseph Superior Judge David C. Chapleau
• Lake Superior Magistrate Judge Glenn D. Commons
• Sullivan Circuit Judge P.J. Pierson
• Indiana Court of Appeals Judge Patricia A. Riley
Twelve judges were recognized for completing 120 hours of education presented by the Indiana Judicial Center which enhance their legal knowledge and improve their personal and professional development. Those recipients are:
• Jasper Superior Judge James R. Ahler
• Boone Circuit Magistrate Judge Sally E. Berish
• Dearborn Superior Judge Jonathan N. Cleary
• Switzerland Circuit Judge W. Gregory Coy
• Marion Superior Magistrate Judge Gael S. Deppert
