Changes to Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure Effective December 1
Several changes to the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure became effective Dec. 1, 2014. Those changes include a complete overhaul of the bankruptcy appeal process. In addition, several of the forms to be used in bankruptcy cases and proceedings are changing. A new fee of $25 will also be charged for motions concerning the redaction of personal identifiers. Celebrate Our Retiring Judges!
Marion Superior Court will see the retirement of four esteemed judges this year. See below for details on how you can honor their years of service.
Judges David Shaheed, Theodore Sosin and Patrick McCarty
Members of the bar are cordially invited to a retirement celebration in honor of Judge David Shaheed, Judge Theodore Sosin and Judge Patrick McCarty. The celebration will occur Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 from noon to 3 p.m. in the Marion Superior Court, Civil Division 2, W-443 City County Building.
Please come congratulate these fine judges for their years of service to the citizens of Indianapolis and Marion County. Food and refreshments will be provided, and all are welcome.
Judge Gerald S. Zore
Please join the Bench and Bar for a retirement celebration recognizing 40 years of active service by the Honorable Gerald S. Zore of the Marion Superior Court. The celebration will take place in the 17th Floor Courtroom at the City County Building on Friday, Dec. 19, 2014 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Special presentations will begin at 2 p.m.
All are welcome. Refreshments will be provided and have been sponsored by the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Estate Planning and Administration Section. No RSVP is necessary.•
