Faegre Baker Daniels LLP partner James Brotherson, of South Bend, has been elected chairman of the Lawyers Committee for the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association. Cynthia Carrasco has been named inspector general of Indiana by Gov. Mike Pence. Her appointment became effective Jan. 11.
*Marie Castetter has been appointed chief deputy prosecutor of the Hancock County Prosecutor’s Office.
*Ali S. Sylvia, the immediate past-managing partner of Plews Shadley Racher & Braun LLP, was elected the 2015 president of Indy Commercial Real Estate Women, effective Jan. 1.
Firm associate *Matthew D. Neumann has been appointed the 2015 chair of the IndyBar Young Lawyers Division and a member of the IndyBar board of directors.
Andrea Cohen has been elected vice president of the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana board of directors. She practiced law for more than 20 years before owning a catering business and has been on the board since 2012.
