Beginning next week, basic case information on appeals before the Indiana Supreme Court and Court of Appeals will be available to the public through the Odyssey docket. The Indiana Tax Court made the switch in December.

Court records had been maintained on a 28-year-old AS/400 system, but those records will be transferred over to Odyssey starting Monday. The upgrade process will delay posting on the current appellate docket and the Odyssey docket, and Supreme Court and Court of Appeals case events occurring Friday will not be posted to the dockets until May 4, according to a release by the Supreme Court.

The Odyssey docket, which currently houses records for around 220 courts throughout the state, allows the public to view for free basic case information, including hearing dates and attorney names. Appellate case information will also continue to be available for free through the appellate docket at http://courts.in.gov/cofc/docket.html. That docket will now also include links to opinions and orders.

The Odyssey docket is available at http://mycase.in.gov. The Supreme Court does not believe docket entries for the Tax Court and trial courts will be affected by the upgrade.
