Appointments & Elections
Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP partner *Bradley R. Sugarman has been appointed by Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard to serve on the Indianapolis Air Pollution Control Board. The board is responsible for enhancing and improving the air quality for the city of Indianapolis and Marion County.
Bose McKinney & Evans LLP partner *Bryan Babb has been appointed vice president to the Fishers Police Merit Commission by Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness.
Awards & Honors
*Larry G. Evans, of Hoeppner Wagner & Evans LLP, has been selected as a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. Evans is a senior litigator in the firm’s litigation section.
Jones Obenchain LLP partner *Tom Vetne, who along with South Bend attorney Brian Kubicki of Gibson Insurance helped to redraft the local rules of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, will receive an Award of Distinction from the Center for Plain Language at its ClearMark Awards ceremony on May 12 in Washington, D.C. Jones Obenchain LLP and Gibson Insurance are also eligible for the 2015 grand prize as well as the Best of Public Sector and Government Before & After Award.
