Contempt
Joseph Lehman, of Elkhart County, was fined $500 after being found in indirect contempt of court for practicing law while suspended after filing with the court a minute entry purporting to represent a mother as her “translator” and requesting a final hearing be set in a paternity action. He must pay this amount within 60 days of the Oct. 7 order.
Suspension
Stephen W. Schuyler, of Madison County, was suspended Oct. 7 by the Indiana Supreme Court for noncooperation with a Disciplinary Commission grievance investigation. He is ordered to reimburse the commission $525.92 for the costs of prosecuting this proceeding.
Harold E. Bean, of Marion County, was suspended Oct. 7 by the Indiana Supreme Court after being found guilty of Class D felonies theft and official misconduct. Bean was already under suspension for dues nonpayment. The interim suspension shall continue until further order of this court or final resolution of any resulting disciplinary action.•
