Indiana Bar Foundation is looking for volunteers to help with the We the People state competition.

Individuals are needed to serve as judges for the high school and middle school contests to be held Dec. 13-15 at the Crowne Plaza Union Station in downtown Indianapolis. This annual event tests students on their knowledge of the U.S. Constitution, government and the rule of law.

The tentative schedule for volunteering opportunities is:

•    Option 1 – Rounds 1 and 2 of the high school competition: 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 13; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 14

•    Option 2 – Round 3 of the high school competition: 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 14

•    Option 3 – Rounds 1 and 2 of the middle school competition: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 15

Meals, parking, accommodations and training will be provided for the volunteers. No prior experience is necessary. Anyone interested should visit the IBF website for more details and to fill out the appropriate form under the “Upcoming Events” section.
