Kenneth "Cody" Rackemann faces murder charges in the shooting deaths of four people during a botched robbery at an Indianapolis drug house in early 2014. He's accused of killing three people, wounding a fourth person and then ordering someone else to kill her.
The Indianapolis Star reports that the Marion County prosecutor's office hasn't confirmed whether a plea agreement is being negotiated for Rackemann, but defendants generally change their original plea of not guilty to guilty during a change of plea hearing.
Rackemann's attorney didn't respond to a message seeking comment from the newspaper.
Court records show the hearing is scheduled for Dec. 18 in Marion County Superior Court.
