Polycon Industries Inc. v. National Labor Relations Board

NLRB. Enforces National Labor Relations Board order that Polycon Industries must sign a collective bargaining agreement with Teamsters Union Local 142. Polycon negotiated the agreement with the Teamsters, but then refused to sign it.

Derrick E. Hampsch v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)

Criminal. Affirms six-year sentence for conviction of sexual misconduct with a minor, a Class C felony, but remands to trial court to order sentence served concurrently with a sentence on a different violation from Madison County Circuit Court.

Milton R. Robinson v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)

Criminal. Affirms 20-year sentence for dealing in a schedule IV controlled substance, a Class B felony, and maintaining a common nuisance, a Class D felony.

Willie P. Jackson v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)

Criminal. Affirms Willie Jackson’s juvenile record should have been used as an aggravating factor after he was convicted of two counts of robbery while armed with a deadly weapon, five counts of criminal confinement with a deadly weapon and one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, which are all Class B felonies. Remands to trial court to change aggregate 40-year sentence to 35 years after court found Jackson’s sentence for Count II, robbery of the store customer, should be reduced to 10 years.
