Subscribe NowElectronic filing is available starting Monday for most civil and criminal cases in Morgan County, the 16th in the state to enable the technology, the Indiana Supreme Court announced. E-filing for cases at the Martinsville courthouse will become mandatory on Nov. 18.
E-filing is now mandatory in nine Indiana counties, and remains voluntary in seven others that have already adopted electronic filing. A dozen more counties are expected to enable e-filing by the end of the year, including Marion, Johnson and Monroe counties. State courts have scheduled e-filing activation dates through November 2017 for 42 counties.
All state courts are expected to offer e-filing by the end of 2018. More information about e-filing is available here.
