Johnson County on Monday became the 17th Indiana circuit court to adopt electronic filing, and e-filing for most case types will become mandatory in there in two months.

Grant County is next in line to make e-filing available, with a projected start date of Oct. 3, according to an e-filing timeline on the Indiana Supreme Court website. Another dozen counties — including Marion and Monroe — are scheduled to enable e-filing before the end of the year.

More information about e-filing in Indiana trial and appellate courts is available here.
