The appointment was made in an order issued Wednesday as part of a transition in the New Castle courthouse that began when former Circuit Judge Mary Willis was appointed in July as the first chief administrative officer of the Indiana Supreme Court.
Dunsmore will serve as judge pro tem in Henry Circuit Court 3, which became vacant when Judge Bob Witham assumed that office last week. Witham and Henry Circuit Court Judge Kit Krane had been handling duties in Henry Circuit Court 1 since Willis’ departure.
