Indiana Tax Court Judge Martha Blood Wentworth will hear oral arguments in the case of CVS Corp. #6698-02 v. Monroe Co. Assessor, 49T10-1607-TA-00020, at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law on Tuesday. The case deals with the question of whether the Indiana Board of Tax Review’s final decision should be reversed because the board failed to take judicial notice of transcripts in two other similar cases and because the board failed to follow precedent, both its own and that of the Tax Court.
The court previously heard oral arguments in another case involving CVS and the county assessor at the Bloomington law school last month. Tuesday’s arguments will begin at 10 a.m. in the Moot Court Room, 211 S. Indiana Ave., Room 123, Bloomington.
