The Community Justice Academy of the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will host an event tonight in Indianapolis updating the community on the local fight against human trafficking. The presentation and discussion will feature experts in the field and provide information on the realities of juvenile and adult victims, most often trafficked for sex crimes.

“The Realities of Human Trafficking” presentation will be led by Delaware Circuit Judge Kimberly S. Dowling, Gregory Massa, assistant special agent in charge of FBI’s Indianapolis Division Criminal Branch, and Michael Langeman, supervisor of the FBI Violent Crimes Squad in the Indianapolis Division. The presentation will address how public safety agencies, the courts, and advocacy organizations are working to combat human trafficking and intercede for victims in Marion County.

The presentation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Indianapolis Public Library Services Center, 2450 N. Meridian St. The event is free, but registration is required. .http://www.Indy.gov/MCPO/CJA
