The council this month adopted the recommendation from the accreditation committee that the sanction of public censure be removed. The sanction was imposed on the northwest Indiana law school in 2016. The committee found the law school has demonstrated compliance with Standard 501 (b) the prohibits admissions of “an applicant who does not appear capable of satisfactorily completing its program of legal education and being admitted to the bar.”
Finding the committee’s recommendation was support by “substantial evidence” of compliance, the council removed the sanction.
