The court amended Administrative Rule 8 last week to add a new juvenile case type, JQ, that will serve as the classification for child protection order cases. Other protection order cases will be classified under the existing PO case type.
The JQ case type will be added to the uniform numbering system on Jan. 1. The full order amending Rule 8 can be read here. A full list of Indiana trial court case types is available here.
