Two young men have been convicted in connection with the 2017 drug-related robbery and fatal shootings of three men in an Indianapolis apartment.

The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office announced Monday that Troy Ward and Martell Williams were convicted following a six-day trial. Ward was convicted of charges including three counts of murder and three counts of felony murder, while Williams was convicted of charges including three counts of felony murder, among other convictions for both.

Sentencing is Nov. 20.

Dominique Miller, 25, Jordan Wright, 25, and Justin Crowder, 19, were slain July 16, 2017. Witnesses testified that Ward and Williams were involved in a plan to rob Crowder in his apartment. During the course of that robbery, they said Ward fatally shot the three men.

Three additional defendants agreed to plead guilty and testified at the trial.
