The new system, which takes effect June 3, will allow e-filing attorneys to use Central Sign-on. That offers attorneys the ability to access any NextGen court in which they practice using just one login and password.
Prior to the switch, e-filers must complete and take note of three action steps:
• Obtain and register for an individual PACER account. Shared accounts cannot be used by filing attorneys after the transition.
• If already registered for an individual PACER account created before Aug. 1, 2014, upgrade that account before June 3.
• Take note of currently used CM/ECF login and passwords.
On the go-live date, e-filers must link their upgraded PACER accounts to their INNB NextGen CM/ECF account. Filings will not be enabled in NextGen until the CM/ECF account is linked to the upgraded individual PACER account.
The Indiana Southern Bankruptcy Court made the transition to NextGen last April.
More information regarding the transition may be found at the Indiana Northern District Bankruptcy Court’s website.
