Subscribe NowConnecting with potential clients is a crucial first step in business development for lawyers, especially as consumers increasingly turn to the internet for their search. Now, an even better way to capture those leads is available from the Indianapolis Bar Association with the launch of a brand-new artificial intelligence-fueled lawyer referral platform.
“Providing tools for our members to build their practices and attract clients is one of the most important priorities for the IndyBar,” says President Tom Barnard of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. “We’re proud to offer this new platform, which not only utilizes state-of-the-art technology but also offers tremendous return on investment.”
The new referral platform encompasses both the call-in referral service and the bar’s referral website, which were previously available as separate referral program options. Now, consumers visiting indylawyerfinder.com have several options for finding their next attorney — all of which help provide visibility for and funnel leads to attorneys participating in the service.
The service, which is free to use, utilizes artificial intelligence categorization to guide potential clients through the referral process from their computer or mobile device and instantly connects them with the right lawyer for any legal situation. Similarly, users who prefer to call the bar’s office for a referral will be matched with an attorney using the same technology. All attorney panelists are also viewable in a fully-public directory available for potential clients to search if they prefer to research and compare attorneys on their own.
Indy Lawyer Finder is available as a yearly subscription for both IndyBar members and non-members. IndyBar members save 50 percent on referral program fees, plus gain access to more than $2,000 in valuable member benefits each year. The enhanced platform was developed in partnership with legal technology company Legal.io.
What’s New
One Name, Two Great Services: The new platform brings together the IndyBar’s phone-based and online referral services into one powerful referral source under the Indy Lawyer Finder umbrella. That means panelists will receive referrals from both clients calling the IndyBar and visiting the online site and will be able to track all in one convenient portal.
AI Means Better Referrals: Whether seeking an online or phone referral, potential clients are guided through an artificial intelligence (AI)-based system that more closely matches the referral based on their unique legal needs. Plus, the ability to choose from more than 80 practice areas means panelists’ profiles better represent their practice and bring in clients seeking specific expertise.
Marketing 24/7/365: Panelists’ practices are marketed day and night through the robust online portal. New tools allow panelists to better personalize their profiles, share articles and helpful resources and even offer fixed-fee packages for wills, contracts and other services.
